AbelCine is a leading Digital Cinema and HD camera equipment supplier to the motion picture and broadcast industries. We offer sales, training, rental, and repair services to the professional filmmaking community with offices in NY, CHI, and LA.Our LA officeis currently seeking a self-motivated and results-driven Office Manager to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic, hardworking individual to participate in our exciting and fast-paced company.Office Manager Responsibilities:

  • Oversee general office operations and assist departments with their needs
  • Serve as a conduit for all departments to set the tone for interdepartmental support, morale, and effective communication
  • Oversee daily office appearance and cleanliness
  • Serve as the main contact with our landlord to communicate issues regarding the building
  • Oversee all matters regarding the building to ensure the proper function of all areas and services
  • Oversee day to day activities ofthe Facilities Manager in order to prioritize the needs and projects of departments, the configuration of office space, and overall facility upkeep
  • Assist managers withnew employee onboarding and assure that their work area and provisioned office equipment are handled properly
  • Oversee staff security and access to the office (keys, fobs, pin codes)
  • Dispatch vendors as necessary or as instructed, including for construction projects
  • Along with the Facilities Manager, oversee facility issues relating to office development, parking, AC, electric, and building maintenance issues and organization of storage inventory
  • Provide front office coverage as necessary
  • Purchaseof office, facilities, and kitchen supplies
  • Maintain office closing schedule; Open and/or close facilities as necessary
  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee company events; assist with training, sales, and vendor events
  • Collect and announce daily internal company news and events
  • Oversee petty cash transactions, including reimbursements and client cash transactions
  • Manage the local office expense budget
  • Assist managers with upholding policies
  • Workwith departments and Facilities Manager to handle logistics relating to trade shows such as NAB and Cine Gear
  • Address staff milestones
  • Book corporate travelRequirements for the successful applicant:
    • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and training
    • 2+ years of prior experience in office operations in a supervisory role, with a solid comprehension ofdifferent business functions
    • Ability to perform in events of changing priorities and ambiguity
    • Confident, articulate, and clear communication skillsand the ability to effectively connect with team members andmanagers
    • Analytical and critical thinking abilities
    • Attention to detail and organizational skills are a must
    • Excellent project and time management, as well as multitasking skills
    • Positive attitude, assertive, personable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative
    • Professional, poised and motivated, self-starter with strong leadership qualities
