We are looking for a Vice President of Product Marketing, who will
be a key member of the Marketing Leadership team, driving the
marketing of Entertainment Partners' solutions and products to the
entertainment industry. You will be directly responsible for
driving audience and market segmentation, persona development,
product positioning, product and audience messaging, thought
leadership in support of EP products and solutions, and competitor
differentiation. You will partner with business development and
account management to promote existing and new products to clients
through strategic product planning with the objective of
accelerating growth, driving user satisfaction and promoting the EP
brand. You will be responsible for identifying new segments, new
routes to market and client trends. You will serve as the primary
liaison between product development, product management, product
strategy, marketing, communications, business development, and
client experience to ensure the achievement of business, market
share and revenue goals and objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assume end-to-end ownership of product marketing (both
strategic vision and tactical execution) for multiple rapidly
growing SaaS solutions, including defining the vision and strategy
of the Product Marketing team
- Lead the development, planning and execution of multi-year,
segment and persona driven product marketing strategies (e.g.,
market analysis, product---positioning, adoption, up-sell, renewal,
lifetime value, etc.) created from deep client insights
- Work closely with Product Management team to help drive the
product launch and go-to-market strategy for new product features.
Work closely with Account Managers, Business Development team and
engineers, and enable them to effectively position our products and
solutions and differentiate our offerings from our
competition
- Partner with digital and go-to-market global marketing teams to
design and launch campaigns designed to create measurable pipeline
impact and impact brand awareness with key enterprise
buyers
- Conduct competitive research to better understand the market
and market segments, and implement communications strategy for
differentiation
- Identify target audience(s) and persona development for all
products and solutions
- Prioritize high impact market segments based on opportunity and
alignment of business objectives
- Own product launch campaigns and initiatives, including
insights-based positioning, messaging and tactics to drive
awareness & adoption (website, PR, blog, email, social, in-product
messaging, paid channels, videos, customer testimonials, white
papers, etc.)
- Clearly and persuasively communicate EP's vision and unique
product positioning and benefits to a varied set of audiences
including internal teams and clients
- Develop and position EP's products as a comprehensive solution
to meet the needs of EP's clients
- As a key member of EP's marketing leadership team, actively
participate in shaping the continued evolution of EP's marketing
organization and provide input on the growth of the business and
align revenue strategy with overall company objectives
- Keep company and marketing organization up to date on market
trends and market landscape.
- Meet or exceed annual financial targets including revenue,
gross margin, and departmental expense targets
- Recruit exceptional talent, grow and develop high performing
teams and provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback to team
based on company KPIs
- Collaborate cross-functionally to drive cohesive, high impact
product launch implementation
- Work with internal Marketing & Communications team to create
unique and differentiated thought leadership and market development
plans, materials, and external facing messaging
- Work with Business Development to ensure team success including
sales pitch decks, objection handlers, and more
- Work with Engineering to shape the product roadmap & implement
tight feedback cycles between our clients and the product
team
- Additional duties as assigned
JOB REQUIRMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED
- 10+ years' experience in the product marketing and management
discipline, leading global product marketing strategy across all
marketing channels, ideally with a background in technology, data,
or financial services in the SaaS B2B setting
- Prior experience preferred in product management, strategy,
e-commerce, subscription services, and B2C product
marketing
- Demonstrated record of success in designing the strategy and
leading the execution of multiple successful marketing programs, at
a high growth company with multiple product lines, regions, and
distribution channels. Thorough understanding of product marketing
processes and operations
- Ideal candidate will have experience working with data driven
solutions marketing to executives, managers and users
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) preferred, or
industry/job experience equivalent -
- 5+ years management experience (leading multiple client facing
teams) -
- Must have demonstrated effective collaboration and coalition
building in matrixed or highly cross-functional business settings
across technical and non-technical teams
- Strong understanding, experience and knowledge of the
entertainment technology needs preferred
- Experience leading and executing substantive competitive
analysis
- Experience conducting pricing analysis and managing pricing
strategy
- Proven history of meeting and exceeding performance
goals
- Strong analytical skills, ability to tie detailed analysis and
data-driven recommendations to larger strategy with an in depth
understanding of market conditions, customer needs and competitive
offerings desired
- Working knowledge of complex sales cycles and ability to
navigate the sales process with multiple stakeholders and decision
makers with positive results
- Strategic thinker with ability to synthesize competitive
trends, market data, and customer insights into a plan of
action
- Comfortable with ambiguity and change
- Exceptional judgment and decision-making skills. Able to weigh
multiple, sometimes conflicting points-of-view and drive a
decision
- Ability to collaborate and influence, and also be a team
player
- Ability to manage and plan at both the strategic and
operational levels and to consistently meet or exceed planned
objectives
- Highly creative with ability to generate ideas and execute
against them
- Articulate and very skilled at telling a written or visual
story in a simple straightforward way
- General knowledge of motion picture and television productions
as well as production management
- Proficient within MS Office Suite (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and
familiar with Salesforce and Sharepoint

The annual salary range for this position is $185,800-$216,000 and
will be -commensurate with experience related to the position.
