An opportunity is available for a Physical Therapist specializing in school-based therapy to support students within educational settings in Torrance, CA, and surrounding Los Angeles County sites. This position offers flexible scheduling options, available as either full-time or part-time, with a contract duration beginning ASAP through the End of School Year (EOSY). Key Responsibilities: Provide physical therapy services to students with diverse needs in a school environment Assess student progress and develop individualized treatment plans Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student outcomes Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of IEP (Individualized Education Program) goals Qualifications: Valid Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of California Experience or interest in school-based therapy services Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork Ability to manage caseloads efficiently and prioritize patient needs Commitment to student-centered care and ongoing professional development Location: Position primarily based in Torrance, CA, with opportunities across various Los Angeles County school sites This contract role provides a meaningful avenue to impact student health and wellness in educational settings, with flexibility to suit full-time or part-time availability.
