FULL-TIME, CONTRACT TO HIRE OPPORTUNITY, HIRING URGENTLY Job Title: A&P Mechanic Pay Rate: $38.00 HourlyLocation: Burbank AirportShift: 2nd shift (Wednesday - Sunday, 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM, 8 Hour shift, 2 Hour OT paid)Description:AIFRAME Worked on: Boeing 737-800 / 700 NG (Next Generation), A Checks, Pre-flight Checks1) Maintain an understanding of the maintenance program2) Coordinate and execute scheduled and unscheduled work loads3) Assume "ownership" of the aircraft while on duty4) Maintain open communication with Team Leads, Maintenance Control and Pilots5) Demonstrated knowledge of Structural Repair Manual conditional use and damage assessment6) Participate in the Safety Management System (SMS) Program and promote a 'Safety Always' cultureAdditional Skills & Qualifications:FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license requiredBoeing Systems Fam courses preferred737 Line maintenance preferredMust be able to lift 50 lbs. for a distance of 10 feetMust be able to work outside in inclement weatherWhen you apply to this posting, expect a call from Conner with Aerotek!
