We are a fast-growing, dynamic company seeking a Mechanical
Assembly Lead to join our headquarters in City of Industry, CA. Job
Summary: The Mechanical Assembly Lead is responsible for actively
participating in and coordinating mechanical assembly operations on
the production floor. In addition to performing hands-on assembly
tasks, the Lead supports a team of mechanical assemblers to ensure
production goals, quality standards, and safety protocols are met.
This role requires a strong mechanical background, leadership
through example, and effective communication with both team members
and management. Essential Functions: Perform mechanical assembly
tasks in accordance with written instructions and specifications.
Coordinate daily activities and task assignments within the
mechanical assembly team. Support team members by answering
questions, clarifying instructions, and assisting with
troubleshooting. Ensure any deviations from written instructions
are documented and communicated to the floor supervisor and
manufacturing engineer. Help maintain production flow and meet
schedule targets by working alongside the team. Train and mentor
new assemblers on tools, techniques, and safety procedures. Conduct
informal quality checks and help identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve
technical issues. Maintain clear documentation of assembly
processes, deviations, and feedback. Foster a collaborative and
safety-conscious work environment. Education and Experience: 5
years of experience in mechanical assembly or production operations
Excellent organizational and time-management skills Experience
working in a team-oriented manufacturing environment Strong
mechanical aptitude and familiarity with tools, components, and
assembly techniques Ability to read and interpret technical
drawings, schematics, and written instructions Effective
communication and interpersonal skills Position Type/Expected Hours
of Work: Non-exempt Full-Time Hours: 7:00am- 3:30pm (Hours subject
