Job Description:
Reporting to the Nurse Director of Cardiovascular Services, this
unique role will work alongside two other Nurse Managers on a busy
Pediatric Cardiac Step Down Unit with 90 FTEs. The CNS Nurse
Manager Pediatric Cardiology will oversee 15 FTEs, including
Advanced Practice Nurses and Senior Staff Nurses on the leadership
track. The two other Nurse Managers will oversee 24/7 operations
and unit education, respectively.
The CNS Nurse Manager Pediatric Cardiology will have the resources
to focus on clinical quality improvement and incorporate
evidence-based practices into daily patient care. The CNS Nurse
Manager Pediatric Cardiology will coach and mentor a small,
intimate team selected for leadership and education tracks within
the health system.
