Job Description:
The National Accounts PEO Field Manager is an individual
contributor level role focused on account specific field engagement
and membership growth efforts on an assigned PEO book of business
working in multiple regions. The position has three key areas of
focus:
- Develop and execute account specific sales engagement
strategies for member acquisition and retention
- Flexibility in providing field support for unique growth
opportunities
- Tracking and reporting out plan progress Essential
Responsibilities:
- Develop and Execute Account Specific Sales Engagement
Strategies for Member Acquisition and Retention: Collaborate with
the PEO Director and EAM to support PEO Strategic Account Plans
(SAP). Develop and execute plans on field engagement and sales
support that align to the SAP. Accountable for working with
assigned national PEO customer base to train and educate PEO sales
representatives on KP parity pricing policies and differentiators
of KP integrated delivery system (ie. Care delivery, technology and
tools, health and wellness, education, etc.) in order to achieve
sales goals. Develop a culture of collaboration and partnership
with PEO sales representatives and other key internal/external
partners. Create credibility with PEO sales and service teams by
demonstrating knowledge of each PEO customers unique benefit
package and builds awareness about added services. Assist in
identifying PEO prospect's needs and recommend appropriate
solutions that link Kaiser Permanente mission, vision and values,
key care management initiatives, and current service initiatives.
Work with PEO service teams of assigned customer base to develop
retention and in group membership growth strategies.
- Flexibility in Providing Field Support for Unique Growth
Opportunities: Onsite engagement with PEOs sales and service teams
customers executing specific activities as assigned. Participate in
industry related associations and organization activities.
- Tracking and Reporting Out Plan Progress: Completed plans on
all assigned accounts that align with SAP objectives and goals and
includes political mapping of each PEOs sales and service teams in
all KP regions. SalesConnect tracking for face-to-face meetings and
plan progress metrics. Work closely with internal KP colleagues
(underwriting, PEO Business Consultant, large group AM, EAM) to
process and manage large group break out PEO quote requests. Share
competitive information across the PEO team. Identify key
competitors and trends in the PEO marketplace. Seek opportunities
for improving Kaiser Permanentes image and visibility in the PEO
industry. Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum four (4) years in sales, account management, health
plan administration or related experience.
- If Occupational Health: Minimum four (4) years of experience in
workers compensation processes, products, and contracts.
- Bachelors degree in marketing, finance, business administration
or related degree OR four (4) years of sales, account management,
health plan administration or related experience.
- If Occupational Health: Bachelors degree in finance, business
administration,risk management and insurance, nursing OR four (4)
years of experience in business development, risk management,
and/or insurance.
- Experienced in meeting individual business objectives.
- Outstanding customer service skills with the ability to
articulate and respond to highly complex issues.
- Advanced computer and analytic skills, including experience
creating client presentations using Microsoft Office programs and
use of client databases.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and persuasion
skills.
- Effective account management skills.
- Expertise in handling difficult client issues related to health
plan services, policies and procedures.
- Complete understanding of and experience with employee group
benefits.
- Knowledge of health care industry, understanding of
current/future trends and changes in laws/regulations.
- Knowledge and understanding of competitors strengths,
weaknesses and strategies.
- If Occupational Health: Expertise in handling difficult client
issues related to workers compensation services, policies and
procedures.
- If Occupational Health: Knowledge of occupational health care
industry, understanding of current/future trends and changes in
laws/regulations. Preferred Qualifications:
- Three (3) years of experience in strategic planning dealing
with high-levels of issue complexity.
- Three (3) years of experience working with senior-level
managers and demonstrating progressively increasing responsibility
for relationship management and consultation.
- Three (3) years of experience in underwriting processes,
healthcare products, and contracts.
- Two (2) years of experience in the health care industry.
- If Labor and Trust: One (1) year of experience managing labor
and trust relationships.
