Territory Based in Los Angeles in California
Position Description:
- Responsible for the management of the employees in a designated
sales team. Tracks the designated region's overall sales
performance as it relates to each sales territory and its
achievement of the individual sales goals, setting up the necessary
tracking to report these achievements. Manages sales blitzes,
supplier surveys, and participates in the recruitment and
assessment process for hiring staff to fill open territories.
- Manages activities of all Sales Representatives, in the
designated sales region. Trains and develops new and experienced
sales representatives
- Effectively manages the sales activities of all Sales
Representatives on their sales team by providing supervision and
leadership to facilitate Sales Representatives meeting or exceeding
their monthly sales goals
- Manages all tracking and the necessary paperwork needed to
maintain the normal flow of information to manage the region and
its sales objectives. The required paperwork may include, but are
not limited to, monthly tracking, IDS's, cold box tracking, FDC
(Floor Display Confirmation) tracking, dailies, route books,
territory store lists, administrative checklist, and monthly
ride-with calendar and ride-with forms
- Reports, on a timely basis, all established monthly tracking
results for each designated team
- Conducts ride-withs with each Sales Representatives in his/her
region, to ensure proper execution of the daily duties and
adherence to all company policies and procedures
- Coordinates support of chain division management, as needed, in
any reset that may be scheduled by a chain buyer, including store
set-ups that may be scheduled by a chain buyer or Area Manager
- Develops and maintains key account relationships in
high-profile account for future sales
- Provides upward flow of relevant sales market information to
upper management
- Schedules and facilitates team meetings of Sales
Representatives to plan and direct the sales goals among the team
members
- Works with each team Sales Representative to handle problems
that may arise in the normal course of daily business. Reports
these problems, when they arise, to the Area Manager and provides
assistance throughout the process in resolving them
- Schedules, monitors and reviews any and all supplier ride-withs
in the region and reports the progress to the designated Area
Manager
- Manages any and all supplier surveys in the designated
region
- Manages and maintains all POS (Points of Sales) items in the
region that will aid in improving sales, shelf position, cold box
or displays of any and all products sold by the Chain Division
- Evaluates and conducts periodic performance reviews of team
Sales Representatives to ensure that Sales Representatives
understanding Wine Warehouse organizational objectives,
achievements of goals, maintains sound work ethics and Sales
Representatives adhere to all company systems, procedures, and
policies
- Manages staffing for the sales region, including participating
in interviewing job candidates, hiring, training of Sales
Representatives and, if necessary, participating in the
disciplinary and termination process Position Requirements:
- Ability to execute all facets of the job description and follow

expectations of Wine Warehouse while demonstrating support,
dedication, and a positive attitude. Effective management of the
sales activities of all Sales Representatives on the Regional
Manager's sales team by providing supervision and leadership to
facilitate Sales Representatives meeting or exceeding their monthly
sales goals
- Ability to execute all facets of the job description and to
follow all management directives. Primarily to satisfy the
professional expectations of Wine Warehouse while demonstrating
support, dedication, and a positive attitude
- Ability to manage a sales team and develop a cohesive,
motivated, goal oriented team supporting the philosophy and culture
of Wine Warehouse
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Extensive wine, beverage, alcohol product knowledge
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) or equivalent combination of
education and work experience
- Ability in executing product sales, preferred background in the
sale of wine, beers, and spirits
- Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel
and Power Point), Internet savvy
- Experience in chain store operations in California is
preferred
- Ability to conduct Safety Meetings
- Strong communication, mentoring, interpersonal and sales
presentation skills
- Must possess valid California Driver's License
- Reliable transportation and good driving record is required
Physical Standards:
- Employee must be able to walk, bend, reach, and lift, if
necessary 50 pounds or more. The physical demands here are
representative of those that must be met by an employee to
successfully perform the essential job functions of this position.

- May visit accounts (8-10) daily in the supervision of Sales
Representatives requiring driving and getting in and out of the
vehicle
- Must be able to walk, bend, reach, and lift 50 pounds or
more
- Building displays in store, cutting cases of product, placing
cases of product in the trunk of the car or moving the product out
of the trunk of the car
- Repetitive bending, kneeling, stooping, and occasional climbing
is required
- Traveling to company-scheduled meetings with a minimum travel
time of two (2) hours
- Cutting paper boxes using paper cutter following the specific
instructions
- Must wear appropriate footwear that provides comfort and
support for driving, bending, stooping and climbing Compensation

- $55-62k Salary + Incentives + Annual Discretionary Bonus + $3k
Sign On Bonus
- Expected Total Annual Compensation $65-70,000
- Mileage Reimbursement at 65.5 cents per Business Miles
