Be the first to get the latest updates and job opportunities.Whether virtual or in-person, we'd love to see you at one of our upcoming hiring events for hourly positions.With open membership policies, our Employee Resource Groups create safe spaces for diverse community members and their allies to learn from each other, grow together, and pursue a better society for all.Director Senior,Claims & Risk Finance (Remote) Responsibilities/Essential Functions- Manage financial risk functions including loss forecasting based on reserves and actuarial assessments.- Lead the property risk allocation process including methodology, reporting, and associated accounting and finance elements.- Ensure that strategic claim practices are employed to optimize performance and reduce financial liability.- Serve as primary point of contact for Third Party Claim Administrator.- Initiate and manage captive feasibility assessment process.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:Familiarity with accounting and finance practices around insurance claim handling both with and without a captive insurance entity's involvement.- Experience with the strategic leadership of workers' compensation and liability claim handling, including management of Third-Party Claim Administrators (TPAs).- Deep understanding of claim risk factors and potential mitigation opportunities at a program level.- Direct experience with actuarial processes around casualty and property insurance programs.- Demonstrated ability to lead financial reporting around risk operations.- Knowledge of claim support techniques including interaction with forensic accounting and recovery calculation processes.- Expertise around the calculation, forecasting, and tracking of Total Cost of Risk (TCOR).- Ability to lead staff, effectively collaborate across departments/disciplines, and serve as a key contact for risk management matters.- Proficient with Microsoft Office365.Working Environment/Safety Requirements:Office environmentExperience/Qualifications:- 10+ years of risk finance and claims experienceLicense Requirements/Certifications:- Certified Public Accountant strongly preferredBenefits: Aramark offers a wide array of comprehensive benefit programs and services including medical, dental, vision, short and long term disability, basic life insurance, and paid parental leave. Employees will also receive 9 paid holidays throughout the calendar year.Compensation: The salary rate for this position ranges from $150,000 to $210,000, depending on circumstances including an applicant's skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors.
