exhibit the capacity for self-directed and resourceful performance
of advanced Contract Management tasks, and, under close guidance of
the Executive Director, supervising a Contract Administrator;
drafting and reviewing contracts, amendments, and product notices;
review of data processing in WB systems (COSMOS); and the analysis
of output and volume agreement criteria for product inclusion and
categorization.Needs to understand the business sufficiently to
correctly identify rights, availability, holdback, and pricing
issues, seeking guidance as necessary, and together with Executive
Director, solve for such problems. Perform revenue recognition as
directed. Exhibit an understanding of the construct and operation
of legal documents.Your Role Accountabilities
- Reviews drafts of output / volume agreements prepared by
Business Affairs / Legal. Reviews analysis of output and volume
agreement criteria for product inclusion and categorization.
Reviews one-off contracts, amendments and product notices
(including product schedules) and provides feedback of the same to
staff. Responds to questions from Sales and Legal on contract
language and product information.
- Works with Sales Planning, Sales Strategic Finance, Sales
Executives, Sales Administrators, Rights Management and Contract
Administrator to ensure all contracts and associated changes to
contracts are correctly and timely input into COSMOS (sales and
distribution system) and all associated documents are accurately
prepared and sent to the Licensee timely. Responsible for oversight
of distribution, filing and archiving of fully executed contracts
and amendments.
- Supervises 1 Senior Contract Administrator / Contract
Administrator and provides training and support in regards to their
COSMOS data reviewing and contract document drafting, as well as
the Sales Administrators with whom they work in regards to COSMOS
input and contract order drafting. Responsible for managing
workflow of Contract Administrators, including reviewing Work Logs,
and identifies if assistance is needed from other Contract
Administrators in the Department.
- Provides support to Sales (Administrators and Executives) by
supplying sales and availability reports, information regarding
status of contract processing and document preparations and status
of resolving COSMOS / contracting issues.
- Responsible for ensuring rights, legal and other conflicts are
resolved timely. Coordinates with Rights Management to resolve
clearance and availability issues and to ensure resolution of
conflicts prior to concluding COSMOS processing and executing
agreements.
- Coordinates with Finance and Sales to ensure all contractual
obligations have been fulfilled and ensures all outstanding legal
documents, tentative/TBA dates, contractual options and future
selection commitments have been received and processed.
- Coordinates with Sales for updates and review of quarterly
revenue report prepared by FP&A to ensure forecasted revenue is
achieved each quarter. Prepares, reviews and submits quarterly
revenue accruals to Finance Deal Processing ensuring appropriate
support (executed agreement, proof of exhibition, reliance letter,
etc.) has been gathered to recognize revenue in the period.
- Identifies process inefficiencies and proposes well thought out
suggestions for improvement to Department Management.Qualifications
& Experience
- Typically, minimum 3 years of related work experience
required.
- Prior Television Distribution or other Media experience,
including international experience required.
- Previous Contract Management experience required.
- Experience in working with and enhancing Enterprise Wide
financial and operational systems strongly preferred.
- Experience in established internal control environments a plus,
but not required.
- Must have experience with handling/processing large volumes of
data with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience interacting daily with colleagues based in other
countries / time zone a plus.
- BA/BS degree required.
- Must understand terminology as it relates to Domestic and
International Television licensing.
- Must be able to discuss deal points of contract with sales
personnel for clarification or revision.
- Exhibits the ability to provide others with guidance on sales
orders and help resolve problems.
- Must have effective and tactful communication skills, which
fosters open dialogue and team involvement.
- Must have excellent attention to details.
- Must have strong math, analytical and problem-solving
skills.
- Must have strong written and oral communication skills.

local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof,
for roles in locations where legally required. $62,797.00 -
$116,624.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual
bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific
