Job Description:
A company is looking for a Field Medical Director, UM Physical
Medicine.
Key Responsibilities
Support pre-admission review, utilization management, and
concurrent and retrospective review processes
Provide clinical leadership for population health programs and
manage medical costs for assigned populations
Ensure compliance with medical appropriateness and adherence to
evidence-based protocols
Required Qualifications
Board certification in an ABMS medical specialty
Graduate of an accredited medical school with an MD or DO degree
and an active physician license
3-5 years of clinical practice in a primary care setting and
medical administrative experience preferred
Proven ability in a medical leadership position with clinical
credibility
Thorough understanding of managed care systems and concepts
