Medical Assistant (Per Diem) - Urgent Care
This exciting opportunity is for our brand new Urgent Care facility
located in Burbank, CA!
The Medical Assistant (MA) II works under the delegation of a
licensed practitioner to perform duties as directed to assist in
providing patient care to assigned patients. A MA II performs all
aspects of the MA I role and is fully competent in the clinical
needs/functions for assigned clinic/location of work. An MA II is
expected to perform in accordance with established policies,
procedures, and regulations.

Join our team at Providence Facey Medical Foundation where you'll
support nurses both in and out of surgery, among other patient care
tasks. As a Providence caregiver, you'll apply your specialized
training to deliver world-class health with human connection and
make a difference every day through your extraordinary care.
Required Qualifications:
Coursework/Training: Graduate of accredited school for medical
assistants or an equivalent combination of coursework,
experience/training to qualify to sit for the CA State or National
Certification exam.
Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
6 months Healthcare experience.
6 months Medical Assistant experience.

may be available for this role, such as shift differentials,
standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or
