Description Surgical Technician at Providence St. Jude Medical
Center, Fullerton, CA. This position is Full Time and will work
12-hour, Day shifts to include Call rotations. Providence St. Jude

member of the surgical team, under the direct supervision of the
Registered Nurse Circulator, maintains the operating room sterile
field; passes instruments, sutures, and sponges during surgery.
Insures that proper aseptic technique is utilized to prevent
contamination and infection. Assists the registered nurse with

Coursework/Training: Graduate of a program accredited by the
Association of Surgical Technicians. • National Certified Surgical
Technologist - National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical
Assisting upon hire. • National Provider BLS - American Heart
Association upon hire. • Experience with proficient scrubbing in
one or more: Complex Spine, Total Joints, Open Hearts (chest), and
the Eye Service. Preferred Qualifications: • 2 years of recent

for this position will be determined based upon relevant job

pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role,
