Assignment Information: DHS/LA County Harbor UCLA Medical Center is
currently in need of highly skilled Registered Nurses (RN) with a
minimum of one (1) year of acute care setting experience as a
Medical Surgical/Telemetry RN. RNs will be providing care for
patients with a wide range of medical and surgical conditions with
continuous cardiac monitoring. Nursing care focuses on providing
pre- or post-operative care for adults for surgical procedures,
monitor and interpret telemetry (EKG/ECG) for arrhythmias, rate,
and rhythm changes. RNs will float within the assigned Facility;
and/or from a DHS Facility to another DHS Facility as needed;
and/or be scheduled to a Workweek assignment between Facilities as
needed. DHS Facilities include but not limited to LA General
Medical Center, Harbor UCLA Medical Center, Olive View UCLA Medical
Center, and Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center.
Ensure that profiles are submitted only for RNs who are fully
committed to working a per diem assignments. Required
certifications include active Registered Nurse license, AHA BLS,
NIHSS Certification, MAB or CPI, LA City Fire and Life Safety card
(must be LA City), and proof of full COVID and seasonal Flu
Vaccinations.
