Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Radiation Therapist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours - Employment Type: Travel Title: Radiation Therapist Location: Burbank, CA Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (07:30 – 16:00) Job responsibilities and all required and preferred skills and requirements: /t - /t Deliver safe and accurate radiation therapy treatments to adult oncology patients /t /t - /t Operate linear accelerators, simulators, CT simulation equipment, and related treatment devices /t /t - /t Perform patient positioning, beam modification, block cutting, CBCT/kV/mV imaging, and chart checks /t /t - /t Participate in pretreatment procedures, dosimetry support, and emergency cases /t /t - /t Provide treatments including SRS/SBRT and respiratory gating techniques /t /t - /t Utilize Elekta treatment units and Impac MOSAIQ for treatment management and documentation /t /t - /t Treat a wide range of adult cancers including lymphoma, leukemia, pancreatic, kidney, testicular, and breast cancers /t /t - /t Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards, hospital policies, and regulatory requirements /t /t - /t Demonstrate strong critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills /t Required Qualifications: /t - /t Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program /t /t - /t Minimum 1 year of clinical Radiation Therapist experience /t /t - /t Active ARRT (T) certification /t /t - /t Active state license /t /t - /t BLS certification /t /t - /t Experience in adult acute care and outpatient oncology settings /t Preferred Skills & Experience: /t - /t CT simulation /t /t - /t Respiratory gating /t /t - /t Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS) /t /t - /t Experience with Elekta Infinity, Precise, Synergy, or Versa HD units /t /t - /t Experience with Impac MOSAIQ EMR /t /t - /t Teaching hospital experience /t HonorVet Technologies Job ID 31804390.
