Health to find a qualified OR RN in Santa Barbara, California,
93110! Job Title: PreOp RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty:
Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8
hours Experience: Minimum 1 year experience required. License:
Valid State License required. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
Must-Have: Conscious sedation experience required. Epic charting
experience preferred. Description: Must have experience with
conscious sedation. BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
Minimum 1 year of nursing experience is required, with eye
experience highly desired. Candidate will be responsible for
patient assessments and education. Experience in pre-operative
medication and teaching is essential. Must have skills in managing
patients undergoing various surgical procedures. Experience with
procedural sedation and monitoring is required. Knowledge of pain
management techniques and patient recovery protocols is essential.
Candidate must be able to perform various nursing duties, including
IV starts, catheterization, and medication reconciliation. Strong
communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with
patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams. The ideal
candidate must demonstrate the ability to manage multiple
