Job Description Job Description Job Title: Travel- Surgical Tech Location: Hanford, California Department/Unit: [Specify Unit] Salary Range: $30 to $45 per hour Shift: Evening Shift (1:30 PM - 9:00 PM) Call Requirement: One assigned day per week, rotating between first and second call with one weekend call approximately every 5-6 weeks; buddy call assigned within the first to second weekend after arrival. Duration: 8 weeks (Contract) Job Description Elitecare Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled and dedicated Travel Surgical Tech for a contract position in Hanford, California. This role is essential for supporting surgical teams and ensuring high-quality patient care during surgical procedures. Key Responsibilities Prepare and maintain the sterile field during surgical procedures. Assist surgeons and surgical teams by providing necessary instruments and supplies. Ensure all surgical instruments are accounted for before and after procedures. Clean and sterilize equipment and instruments according to hospital protocols. Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care. Document all relevant information related to surgical procedures accurately. Requirements Current Surgical Technology certification (CST) preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Surgical Tech in a clinical setting. Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and instruments. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Additional Information Contract Duration: 8 weeks.
