This contract opportunity requires a skilled Registered Nurse with experience in perioperative care, operating under established nursing standards and ethical guidelines. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring excellent clinical outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Independently assess patient conditions and develop individualized nursing care plans aligned with physician orders and evidence-based practices. Perform comprehensive preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative nursing duties adhering to safety protocols and infection control guidelines. Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members to foster compassionate care and support patient healing. Prioritize and respond effectively to changes in patient status, activating emergency protocols when necessary. Document nursing assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and timely. Participate in unit-based professional development activities, governance councils, and mandatory training. Comply with the scope of practice as defined by applicable nursing regulations and ethical standards. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license with authorization to practice in California. Proven experience in operating room nursing or perioperative care. Knowledge of current nursing process, standards of practice, and infection control. Ability to work independently and within a team environment. Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment skills. Effective communication skills to engage with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
