Peds recovery, and Peds Infant experience!This travel position
requires Infant/Toddler/Adolescent general anesthesia recovery
experience.UNIT DETAILSThis unit requires someone to have one year
critical care experience for someone to apply to PACU, this means
experience with Ventilators, Arterial Lines, Vascular, drips to
titrate and maintain the parameters ordered by the physician. They
also recover PICU patients, usually these are children with co
morbidities that have a procedure. They do not accept Pediatric
patients on the ventilators, but do take adults on ventilators and
extubate them. Emergency RNs should have two years probably to get
those experiences. Patient Population: Neonates-Geriatrics Weekend
Coverage: Every third Unit Systems: OmnicellCERTIFICATIONS
Required: ACLS, PALSSHIFT: The position is for 3X12 s a week with
call required. 12- hour evening 9-2130/12-0030 shift, with call
required. Night call in a 6-week schedule period would be
approximately a total of 40-night call hours. RN can schedule at
their discretion night call hours M-F 2400-0730 and Sat/Sun
1900-0730. Day call requirement-1 Saturday or Sunday 0700-1930 call
shift.EXPERIENCERequired: Minimum 2 years of experience in PACU
required-1st time travelers NOT allowed Must also have 1 year ICU
or 2 years ED experience (proficiency w/vents/lines/drips).
