Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ED - Emergency Department - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/16/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - ER Job Details: • Work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM • Provide patient care in emergency setting with minimum supervision • Triage patients safely, rapidly, and accurately • Communicate with physicians about patient status • Must be willing to cross-train in other nursing departments as needed • Must be willing to float to Med Surg when required • Current California RN license required • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required • 2 years recent ER experience preferred • Operating knowledge of Electronic Medical Records preferred • Must pass nursing medication test • Must effectively communicate in English both verbally and in writing • Good interpersonal skills required to interface professionally with patients, staff, and public • Basic computer skills required Facility: This healthcare district operates as a community-focused medical facility providing comprehensive emergency services to the local population.
