ARRI INC., world renowned distributor of Premier Professional Motion Picture Camera and Lighting equipment is looking for a Human Resource Specialist focused on Recruitment, Training and Onboarding.
This critical role will join an HR team supporting our employees across the Americas. This position will handle the recruitment effort for our locations in New York, New Jersey, North Carolina, Florida, California, Toronto and Vancouver. Prior experience working in talent sourcing, passive recruitment, and an understanding of employment law is required. Skill in drafting offer letters within legal parameters, knowledge of onboarding methods and behavioral interviewing a must!
This role is currently considered a hybrid role working from home a few days a week as well as working in our Burbank, CA office.
The main areas of responsibilities for this role include:Handles recruitment effort for ARRI Inc., ARRI Rental, ARRI Canada and Illumination Dynamics. Creates job postings and ads for recruitment Place advertisements for open positions in numerous venues Review resumes received to ascertain if minimum criteria for position is present Conducts phone screens of applicants, participates in first round interviews Handles applicant testing Acts as a liaison with employment agencies to facilitate needs for temporary staff Updates and maintains recruitment data Maintains follow through with applicants during and after recruitment process, Conducts detailed reference checks and employment verifications for potential new hires
Works with HR team and Department Managers to develop and implement an internship program with the goal of introducing young professionals to our business. With HR Team and Training Team, develop and coordinate a training plan

  • Assist in determining training needs of organization and individual staff members
  • Assist in research, planning and organization of training programs that may fit needs of organization, departments and individuals
  • Make recommendations to staff based upon training needs determined by management
  • Create specific training plans for individuals and groups of staff as necessary
  • Develop and conduct preliminary training programs for staff such as; basic customer service skills, basic phone and email etiquette, rapport building skills, etc
  • Assist the HR and Management team to oversee and maintain the On-boarding experience for all new hired staff
    We require 3 years of experience in Human Resources or a related field, and a minimum of 2 years of recruitment and training program experience. You must have strong computer skills, especially in Excel, Word and Outlook. We operate in a Microsoft Teams environment so experience in this platform is a plus.
