They have an average of 50 million viewers at any given time watching their aggregate services. \n \nThey are looking for a contract Senior Full-stack Java Kotlin Software Engineer. This is a hybrid role local to Burbank California. This role is supporting and acting as a shared service supporting thier Marketing and titles development teams. This is a Full-stack senior Java Kotlin, react engineer working on an on-going project, developing and upgrading older systems into newer platforms. Upgrading current APIs into microservices utilizing CI/CD Pipelines and AWS cloud \n \nThis position is hybrid onsite 2-3 days a week in their Burbank location \n \nA few reasons why we think you’d love working for them\n Building the future of thier marketing and titles applications Reach & Scale: The products and platforms this group builds and operates delight millions of consumers every minute of every day – Innovation: We develop and execute groundbreaking products and techniques that shape industry norms and enhance how audiences experience sports, entertainment & news.\n \n Required Skills & Experience Intermediate to advanced coding experience with Java Kotlin Experience writing, maintaining, and deploying API / Microservices services. ability to hit the ground running developing with React / TypeScript Experience integrating with CI/CD platforms and tool chains such as Git bucket Amazon Web Services-based infrastructure and management including some of: Route 53, ALB, EC2, CloudFormation, \n Desired Skills & Experience console envoy for micro mesh big plus. Experience applying security best practices to application, system, and public cloud infrastructure.\n \n \n What You Will Be Doing 25% React 50% Java Kotlin - Microservices 20% SQL / CICD 5% AWS Cloud Writes code that enhances frameworks, typically for software programs and systems that have little or no precedent. Reviews code for readability, maintainability, testability, and clear usability. Contributes to architecture design and implementation of assigned projects. Provides integration and platform support to internal users and teams.\n
