The candidate will serve as a System Administrator for the F-35
Integrated Product Team (IPT). The candidate will ensure the
confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems, networks,
and data through the planning, analysis, development,
implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of information systems
security programs, policies, procedures, and tools. This candidate
will be expected to attend relevant trainings, workshops and follow
instruction from IT Operations Lead and Senior System
Administrators. Essential Job Functions Monitor information systems
and user compliance with cybersecurity policy, as appropriate, and
review the results of such monitoring. Ensure that any
cybersecurity inspections, tests, and reviews are synchronized and
coordinated with affected parties and organizations. Ensure
implementation of IS security measures and procedures, including
reporting incidents to the ISSM or CISSM, Authorizing Official (AO)
and appropriate reporting chains and coordinating system-level
responses to unauthorized disclosures. Promoting awareness of
security issues among management and ensuring sound security
principles are reflected in organizations' visions and goals.
Developing and implementing programs to ensure that systems,
network, and data users are aware of, understand, and adhere to
systems security policies and procedures. Participating in network
and systems design to ensure implementation of appropriate systems
security policies. Assessing security events to determine impact
and implementing corrective actions. Monitor system recovery
processes to ensure security features and procedures are properly
restored and functioning correctly. Communicate and collaborate
with the IT Operations Lead and Senior System Administrators in
areas of mutual interest and impact. Assist with the analysis of
customer information systems for risk to the organization. Assist
with Monitoring information systems and user compliance with
cybersecurity policy, as appropriate, and review the results of
such monitor. Assist with Ensuring that any cybersecurity
inspections, tests, and reviews are synchronized and coordinated
with affected parties and organizations. Required Skills: Due to
the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship
is required. Bachelor's degree in an IT field with 5 years of
experience. High school diploma/GED plus 13 years of experience, or
Associate's-level (AA/AS/Technical school) plus 7 years of
experience. Must a Windows 10, Linux, RHEL 7/8/9 Operating system
certification Experience with DISA security tools, experience
implementing NIST 800-53 or JSIG security controls Experience with
MSSQL 2014/2016/2017/2019 Must have an active security clearance
and maintain one for the duration of employment. Must be able to
work onsite - This position is not remote work eligible. Must have
a Windows, Linux and or Red hat Operating System and Security
certifications to comply with DoD 8140. Must be willing and able to
work after hours/weekend support for patching and maintenance as
needed. Possess professionalism, courtesy, high moral character,
and integrity. Excellent communication skills and able to liaison
with outside agencies and ability to work independently> Must
have experience design and configure workstations, servers, Network
Attached Storage (NAS) or network devices. Provides IT guidance to
team members, can accept ambiguously defined tasking and create
plans and execute work independently. Collaborates with
stakeholders to identify, define, and document program needs and
objectives, operational procedures, problems, input and output
requirements, and levels of systems access. Integrates DOD
cybersecurity policies and guidelines during the development of
cybersecurity frameworks supporting mission efforts. Utilizes
Agile/Agile Kanban methodologies to develop formal project
documentation. The candidate will be expected to assist during the
integration of multiple organizations. Routinely ensures
comprehensive cybersecurity measures are implemented, followed, and
recorded in a timely and accurate manner. To include but not
limited to; provides security scans, SCAP, implements STIGS &
eSTIGS conducts vulnerability assessments etc. The candidate will
be expected to configure systems to always maintain cybersecurity
defense. Accurately assesses pertinent issues found during the
periodic review of cybersecurity posture. Ability to apply DOD
cyber operations experience and knowledge in supporting mission
operations. The candidate will be expected to assist in the design
of new techniques to support the organization in development,
implementation and maintenance of National, DOD, and DON security
systems.
