Looking for an experienced Java Engineer looking to make an impact on a business critical, entirely new platform for an enterprise entertainment company. Opportunity has the potential to extend to 30+ months, and is all new development. **Candidates must be able to work on W2 without sponsorship** Job Summary & Responsibilities:We're looking for a self-starter engineer who values passion, community involvement and writing code that stands out. Work with an internal engineer or an engineer at a name-brand partner Work with the latest technologies like Java, Spring Boot, AWS & Docker Define, architect and build high-quality software solutions Collaborate with other software engineers and cross functional teams Evangelize technologies, solutions and standard methodologies Contribute new ideas to a larger community of high-caliber professionalsBasic Qualifications: 5+ years of software engineering experience 8 years of experience with core Java - including writing automated tests using Junit and mocking tools Ability to implement micro-services using Spring Boot Relational database experience required (AWS RDS, Postgres, Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, etc.) Must be willing to learn KotlinPreferred Qualifications: Test Driven Development (TDD) and agile methodologies NoSQL (ElasticSearch, MongoDB, Cassandra, etc) Message Queuing (RabbitMQ) Docker Kubernetes AWS, Cloud ConfigurationRequired EducationYou have a BS in Computer Science or related field About TEKsystems: We're partners in transformation.
