Job Description:
To be eligible to enlist in the U.S. Navy, candidates must be
between the ages of 18-34 These careers bring the expertise in all
facets of Information Operations, making sure our fleet is

degree that focuses on areas of study such as international
relations, political science, government, engineering, physical
science, natural science, computer science or other academic fields
related to intelligence.INTELLIGENCE AND INFORMATION SECURITY
CAREERS IN THE NAVY INTELLIGENCE OFFICERAnalyze top-secret
information, interpret spy reports and direct the analysis of
top-secretsatellite imagery. While others may see nothing, youll
use your keen analytical abilities to perceive patterns in internet
chatter. And as an IO, youll be the first to ascertain the
implications of the latest intelligence. CRYPOTOLOGIC WARFARE
OFFICERFew will have the deep understanding of codebreaking like a
Cryptologic Warfare Officer. Create warfighting options for Fleet
Commanders, advise decision-makers at all levels and achieve
military objectives in cyberspace. In this job, your knowledge of
the cyber battlespace is unmatched. CYBER WARFARE ENGINEERYou are
highly trained in specialized areas of disruptive technologies,
cyberspace capability development and the full spectrum of
cyberspace operations. Research, design, develop, test and evaluate
software and firmware for Cyberspace Operations. Apply principles
and techniques of computer science and computer engineering to
build software and firmware to defend our nations vital computer
networks. INFORMATION PROFESSIONAL OFFICERYou lead your team of
Information Systems Technicians to ensure the delivery of
communications capabilities by operating, maintaining and securing
our networks around the globe. Assist with top secret cyberwarfare
missions and discover tactical and strategic advantages afloat and

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS Bachelors degree U.S. citizen or
equivalent Must be eligible for a Top Secret/Sensitive
Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance General
qualifications may vary depending upon whether youre currently
serving, whether youve served before or whether youve never served
before. WORK ENVIRONMENT Officers in this community have
opportunities to serve worldwide aboard ships, on bases and
installations and in Joint Intelligence Centers such as the
National Security Agency or the Pentagon. PART-TIME OPPORTUNITIES
Depending on the role, there may be part-time opportunities
available. Serving part-time in the Navy Reserve, your duties will
be carried out during your scheduled drilling and training periods.
During monthly drilling, Officers in the Information Warfare and
intelligence communities in the Navy Reserve typically work at a
