Job Description:

We're hiring a Parenting Educator!TheParenting Educator will manage, produce, and present parenting webinars and workshops for parents and caregivers of children ages 0-8 years-old, and aide in the creation of resources related to child development and parenting support.Location:Remote (West Coast preferred)Hours & Schedule:

  • Part-time. Hours depend on the work available. Can vary from 0 - 15 hrs or more week to week.
  • Should be flexible enough to work noon, 3pm, and evening events (with advance notice).What you will be doing in this role:
    • Primary function is to manage, develop, and present both live and pre-recorded educational webinars and workshops to Bright Horizons parents and caregivers. This position will work with other members of the Education & Development department and may also serve as a contributor on other team and department projects.
    • Provide one-on-one coaching (via phone) for parents who desire additional support
    • Participate in the development of materials and resources, including, but not limited to webinars, workshops, and website articles.What we hope you will bring to this role:
      • Bachelor's Degree in related field: family studies, child development, psychology, social work
      • Past experiencein developing and facilitating adult learning and training
      • Demonstrated public speaking skills
      • Basic computer software skills in Microsoft Office applications.
