repetitive routine electromechanical assembly tasks to support
manufacturing operation.Duties and Responsibilities:Support the
Quality, Environmental and Health and Safety (QEH&S) policy and
strategic direction of the organization.Perform sub and final
assemblies with minimal supervisionWorks either on a production
line or with small parts by inspecting and sortingPerform to
written job instructions or engineering drawing/work orderUtilize
matrices for problem analysisWork to achieve general knowledge of
operation/function of assemblies as required to troubleshoot
unitsLearn operational or departmental equipment, tooling or
gauging as requiredIdentify process changes and methods
improvementsMaintain current instrumentation calibrationPerforms
quality checks in accordance with established quality procedures
and ISO requirementsEnsures production pace is maintained to meet
customer demandLearn and review daily production goals and metrics
as a teamWill be cross trained to work at all assembly steps of
lineMaintain cleanliness (5S) of work area dailyParticipate in
continuous improvement goals of the work siteSkills /
Equipment:Ability to read and comprehend simple
instructions.Ability to use various power (Pneumatic) hand tools
(i.e.; power screwdriver, socket etc.)Ability to understand
blueprints.Computer literatePosition Requirements:High School
Diploma or equivalent.0 - 2 years' experience in assembly or other
fast paced operations
preferred.AttendanceProductionQualityProfessional Attitude and
TeamworkSAFETY EQUIPMENT:Mats to stand onSafety glassesSafety
shoesMachine guarding, as applicableCut-resistant gloves and other
PPE as applicableWEIGHTS:May be required to lift from one to thirty
