The Coordinator, Donor Engagement Regional Support provides administrative and clerical support for the Donor Relations or Foundation Messaging managers and teams as assigned. Assists in developing all donor-facing communications for the foundations in Southern California.

Donor Engagement Coordinator - Providence Saint Joseph Medical Ctr-Burbank

Full Time/Day Shift

Hybrid Schedule- Remote.

Administrative Support:

  • Provide real-time scheduling support by booking appointments and preventing conflicts. Assist with meeting preparation and scheduling, handling all logistical and technical needs. Maintain a comprehensive calendar with all foundation campaigns in Southern California, including deadlines and special events. Provide coordination and logistical support for stewardship and recognition events and special projects. Maintain the department's project and document archives in the Microsoft SharePoint and MS Teams environments. Maintain and track stewardship and recognition information in donor database. Coordinate stewardship and recognition mailings - print and digital. Assist with annual donor wall updates throughout the region.

    Content Development:

    • Conduct research as requested to inform department projects. Assist in writing and proofreading fundraising and donor stewardship materials such as letters, thank you cards, impact reports, presentations materials, leave-behinds and other materials, including those for special events. Assist in the creation and approval process for press and marketing materials to promote the donors and the impact of philanthropy at each of the foundations in Southern California.

      Required qualifications:

      • Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, English, Communications, Media studies or related field -OR- Qualifying education/experience may substitute for required degree.

      • 2-5 years demonstrated experience working with a non-profit organization in fundraising, development operations, public relations/communications, events or administration.

      • Required upon request: Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request. See policy for additional information.
