Corporate Patent Docketing Specialist

Job Description:

A company is looking for a Patent Docketing Specialist for a 3-6 month remote contract position.
Key Responsibilities

Maintain and manage the patent docketing system, tracking critical patent deadlines accurately
Assist in the preparation and filing of patent applications and related documents with relevant patent offices
Collaborate with internal teams and external patent agents to manage patent portfolios and ensure compliance with deadlines

Qualifications & Education

Minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate or pharmaceutical patent docketing
Experience with patent docketing software (e.g., FoundationIP, CPI, Anaqua, etc.)
Strong understanding of pharmaceutical patent issues, including patent term extensions
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field
Certification or training in intellectual property or patent law is a plus
