What part will you play?
Warner Bros. Studio Facilities (WBSF), a cornerstone of Warner
Bros., is seeking a talented professional to join the WBSF Finance
team. The WBSF Finance department directs and oversees finance and
accounting activities for the WBSF Burbank (US) and Leavesden (UK)
facilities. The position will support Manager, Finance and WBSF
executives by developing strategic analyses to assist with key
business decisions. This includes developing business case analyses
for investments, integrations, strategic initiatives, and potential
acquisitions. Business case analyses will include: key assumptions,
key performance indicators, financial impact of proposed
investments, ROI, IRR, cash flow, and risks and financial impacts.
The position also supports multiple aspects of Studio Operations
and FP&A responsibilities, including month-end/quarter-end
financial reporting, P&L analysis, and review forecasting,
budgeting/forecasting, and various ad-hoc financial analyses.
- Provide business decision support activities for WBSF Studio
Operations. Support the Studio Operations line of businesses in
month end process, variance analysis, preparing capital approval
documentation, and other ad hoc reporting. Responsible for
reviewing lease agreements and applying pricing structure for the
Studio Operations billing process.
- Prepare and monitor annual operating, capital, and
re-forecasted budgets by achieving realistic operating budgets,
processing capital requests, and analyzing actual results as
compared to plan.
- Perform special projects and ad hoc analyses as required.
Identify and pursue continuous improvement opportunities driving
improvements in customer service levels, process efficiencies, and
increases in productivity without increasing headcount.
What do we require from you?
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
- CPA (preferred).
- MBA (preferred).
- Minimum 2 years relevant work experience.
- Experience in P&L, and cash flow modeling.
- Industry experience in entertainment. (preferred).
- Knowledge of film and television production and studio
operations is preferred.
- The successful candidate will spend a significant portion of
the day using the PC. Such software includes, but is not limited
- MS Excel (proficient in using advanced macros and pivot
- MS Word.
- MS Access.
- SAP experience preferred.
- Business Warehouse.
- Various mainframe systems.

operations of the historic 110-acre main lot in Burbank including
its 30 soundstages and 20-acre backlot, as well as
production-related services including costume, set-dressing,
construction, set lighting, catering, transportation, photography
